Kerrie Keeling – Biography
Kerrie graduated from Leeds university in 1996 with a Business and Spanish Joint Honours degree. She joined JPMorgan investment bank on their graduate training scheme, and enjoyed a 3 month placement in New York, before moving to a front office role a Citigroup as a Relationship Manager (Sales and Marketing). During this time Kerrie became FSA registered and passed Corporate Treasury exams to become an ACT member.
In 2003, after seven years in banking, Kerrie set up her own business, A Woman’s Touch Limited. Initially a decorating company, it expanded into tiling, carpentry, plumbing, plastering and electrical work, and this year has expanded further into full building works (loft conversions, extensions and basements). A Woman’s Touch belongs to the Guild of Mastercraftsmen, the Painting and Decorating Association and the Federation of Master Builders. Geographically the company covers the south east of England (Cambridge, London, Brighton) and Southern Spain. She has been awarded the Natwest everywoman businesswoman of the year and BT Female Entrepreneur of the Year and in February 2007 met the Queen, Princess Anne and other female members of the Royal family at a reception for prominent business women.
Kerrie is a keen scuba diver and has trained to instructor level. She also love traveling as has visited many interesting places including trekking on the Great Wall of China, climbing mount Etna in Sicily, Cuba, Mexico, Australia, Hong Kong, Singapore, Finland and the Maldives. Kerrie is married, with no children, but a small dog called Ruben!
