How we work
Women do business differently to men. Sure we get our business cards out, talk shop and ask for referrals, but we also feel comfortable enough to ask where the best hairdresser is or even enthuse about the latest shoe sale! We're professional but not stuffy!
The scope of the group is immense. With ages ranging from 21 - 60 there is always a new approach to an issue or a suggestion to a hurdle. Many women have found solutions and indeed inspiration at a Company Women lunch table.
Dress code? There isn't one. You can come as you like. If you've just come from the gym in your sweats or suited and booted from a pitch presentation or in your company t-shirt - it will make no difference.
Founding member Caroline Garrett, Spice Marketing & PR, drives the marketing, strategic growth and direction for the Group. From a corporate background and over 20-years professional experience she has demonstrated a successful track record in global marketing and events. Her vision for the future is to ensure women everywhere get access to the support and encouragement they deserve. The group is non-profit making, and operates open book accounting.
The main reason that Company Women 'works' is purely down to the bright, amazing and inspirational women that are part of the group. It would seem that female entrepreneurs are in abundance on the Costas!
